How do I Become an Educational or Professional Consultant?

E.P.S.S. is seeking qualified independent contractors to provide educational and/or professional services.  Independent contractors with E.P.S.S. set their own hours and work with a variety of students, while helping students master the subjects they love teaching.  Additionally, E.P.S.S. contractors enjoy spending more time educating and less time administering.

As an independent contractor for E.P.S.S, you may be asked to consent to a background check if requested by a student or parent. You may also order a background check on yourself. Background checks can be conducted at any reputable background check agency, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Refer to the FBI’s website for more detailed information (http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/criminal-history-summary-checks).

 

Pay:

E.P.S.S. independent contractors receive $10- $20 per hour (based on subject/area and number of sessions) they provide educational services and a flat fee for professional services.

 

Qualifications:

Potential candidates must have:

  • Excellent communication skills

  • A love of learning

  • Passion for helping others learn and succeed

  • Expertise in a variety of disciplines

  • Access to the internet and be able to communicate electronically as needed

  • A current resume or curriculum vitae

  • At least a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of a 3.0 grade point average. Copies of transcripts will be required as a part of the application process. Preference will be given to candidates with a degree and/or certification in the specific area in which they are seeking to provide services.

  • Professional experience in the professional area they are seeking to provide services.
